Well folks, the verdict is in. Apparently, fan outrage and a gargantuan protest effort has made a difference - but not enough to save A.J. Cook and her character Agent Jennifer “JJ” Jareau from the psychotic unsub CBS likes to call “Creative Reasons”. On the (very small) upside, Cook will get to return to wrap JJ’s storyline in a two episode arc next season; which, is more than was originally speculated would happen.
Another small victory is that Paget Brewtser will appear in the majority of next season’s episodes instead of just a handful. However, the season will be Brewster’s last.
Bittersweet much? I think so.
But hey, how awesome is A. J. Cook’s t-shirt here?! Take that, CBS!
